Either Hyundai is getting out ahead of the game on this one, or this is simply a matter of your typical recall being elevated to front page news thanks to Toyota.

At this point, all we know is that Hyundai has issued a stop sell order on its 2011 Sonata sedan due to some concerns about a faulty door latch. About 5,000 cars out of the roughly 50,000 that have been built are affected.

Expect to see more on this issue until its cleared up completely.
